Bionically developed flow geometry:

We bring nature and technology together in our flow-guiding components. The bionically developed air filter box reduces pressure loss by up to 40% compared to the original air filter box. We achieve this by designing the flow with the lowest possible flow losses and flow separation using the latest flow simulation solutions (CFD). We adapt the air filter box geometry to the flow, not the other way around. The internal turbulence is reduced by an average of 35% compared to the OEM system, which makes it easier for the engine to draw in air and increases the efficiency of the entire engine. The above factors lead to improved responsiveness and more agile revving of the engine/turbocharger ( up to 30Nm more torque at 1500rpm) . The load on components such as the turbocharger axial bearings is reduced through easier intake and the associated longer service life. The bionically engineered air filter box exhibits little to no change in airflow, allowing the system to operate within the optimal range specified by the factory.

Reducing fuel consumption:

The bionic geometry not only ensures increased performance but also greater efficiency. CO2 and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced. Fuel consumption is also lowered. A significant improvement in performance and responsiveness is achieved in the relevant lower engine speed range, where approximately 80% of the time is spent. In collaboration with Lt. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Schreiner, Professor of Internal Combustion Engines and Mathematics at the University of Konstanz, we were able to theoretically demonstrate that by reducing pressure loss by 40%, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 0.32 l/100 km.

Proven performance improvement

RevDop is the only manufacturer that can demonstrably optimize diesel intake systems without modifying the software. We don't conduct dubious test bench runs with questionable results. If our product doesn't offer advantages, it doesn't make it to production. We have been able to test our air filter box on the dynos of renowned companies such as APR, Oettinger, and Public Racing. In all cases, it was demonstrated that we were able to increase efficiency across the entire rev range. We are taking diesel tuning to a new level!

Specially developed air filter

For our bionically optimized air filter box, we developed a specially designed air filter that guarantees optimal airflow. Due to the cost-effective production of OEM air filter boxes, square standard plate filters are preferred. However, since the OEM manufacturers' airflow components usually have round or elliptical geometries before and after the filter element, the intake air still has to pass through the square air filter. The air therefore has to pass from round geometries through square ones and then back through round ones to make its way. With our rounded plate filters, we have also solved this problem and were thus able to increase efficiency.

Material and in-house production

We have spent years researching to establish an independent production facility. Our intake systems are manufactured from high-quality polyurethane using our own mixing and dosing system. We use a temperature-resistant and tough-elastic material. In our developments, we always strive to combine automotive standards with innovative, innovative manufacturing. Our material is resistant to oils, greases, and water.

More sound

The straight intake airflow into the air filter box noticeably improves the intake sound. The turbocharger purr is significantly more audible. Inside the cabin, you can hear the turbocharger hiss when you ease off the throttle. The engine simply sounds more powerful!
