Maximize the fluid dynamic efficiency of your BMW diesel engine. With our bionically designed air filter housing for BMW M57 and N57 engines, we fundamentally optimize the airflow. Developed for the 335d models of the E-series as well as for 330d and 325d (N57), our system reduces pressure loss by up to 17% compared to the series component.

The result of this fluid dynamic revision is significantly improved flow and precise response under load – the ideal technical basis for demanding performance applications.

Technical Highlights:

• Resistance Reduction: Bionically inspired internal geometry specifically improves airflow. Turbulence is minimized, allowing the turbocharger to operate with less resistance.

• Variable Setup: The housing features an integrated configuration option:

  • Open System: Focus on technical acoustics and maximum throughput.

  • Closed System (Cover flap incl.): Linearly guided flow for maximum flow efficiency.

• Optimized Feedback: Homogeneous flow relieves the compressor and improves high-rev characteristics in dynamic load conditions.

• Precision Fit: The component uses the original mounting points for seamless technical integration.

Bionics & Engineering:

Unlike conventional systems, this housing was developed using modern flow analyses. The geometry is based on organic flow forms, effectively reducing abrupt cross-sectional changes and flow separations inside. This ensures uniform airflow to the turbocharger and optimized overall efficiency of the intake tract.

Material & Durability:

Made from high-quality, thermally stable polyurethane, the housing is resistant to oil, fuel vapors, and heat – designed for maximum longevity under high thermal loads.

Application:

This component is designed for international export and for use in motorsports. It serves as a technical upgrade for performance setups outside of public road traffic.

This product has no ABE (General Operating Permit), no parts certificate, and no parts type approval.

It is not approved for use in public road traffic within the scope of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO). Use is exclusively for motorsport purposes, for export vehicles, or outside public roads.

Installation of this product may lead to the expiration of the vehicle's operating permit according to §19 StVZO.

An approval according to §21 StVZO (individual approval) may be possible in individual cases but must be clarified in advance with a testing organization (e.g., TÜV or DEKRA).
