With the Performance Intake for the 2.0 TDI EA288 EVO engines, we offer a completely re-developed intake system for the current generation of Volkswagen Group diesel engines. The focus is on a bionically developed flow guide designed to make the engine's air supply more efficient and significantly reduce flow-related losses.
The optimized geometry guides the intake air more controllably and evenly to the turbocharger. The result is improved throttle response, optimized power delivery, and a significantly sportier intake sound.

Bionic flow guidance as the key to performance
The core of the system is the specially developed bionic airflow. Unlike conventional air filter boxes, the entire geometry was developed based on modern flow analyses.
Extensive CFD simulations allowed air ducts, transitions, and flow areas to be specifically optimized. As a result, air is guided through the system with significantly lower losses and reaches the turbocharger more smoothly and efficiently.
This reduces unnecessary pressure losses and ensures improved air supply to the engine – the basis for the demonstrable performance and efficiency benefits of the system.
Optimized for the requirements of the EA288 EVO
The EA288 EVO engine generation was developed with a focus on efficiency, emission reduction, and modern combustion technologies. Accordingly, the demands on the engine's air supply are high.
Our Performance Intake has been specifically tuned for this engine generation. The flow-optimized design supports a more consistent air supply and improves the operating conditions of the turbocharger.
Especially during dynamic driving and higher load requirements, the system benefits from optimized airflow and reduced intake resistance.

Specially developed high-performance filter
An essential component of the system is the specially developed performance air filter.
The geometry of the filter element has been specifically matched to the flow characteristics of the air filter box. This ensures that the air is distributed as evenly as possible over the entire filter surface, and additional flow losses are minimized. This is achieved by the rounded filter geometry.
The result is an optimal complement to the bionic airflow of the entire system.
