With our latest turbo inlet for the BMW M340i from the G-series with B58 engine, we are focusing on a targeted technical advancement of the proven OEM design – with a clear focus on reducing flow resistance. The original inlet already shows good basic conditions, but the standard resonance chamber within the component impairs both linear flow and the acoustic presence of the engine. Our newly developed turbo inlet deliberately omits these chambers, thereby improving the internal geometry for a more direct airflow. The result: up to 15% less pressure loss and optimized air guidance, which allows for an increase in air mass of up to 5% in log runs – without additional mechanical effort or vehicle modifications.

To completely eliminate flow losses and damping effects, we also include a cap for the OEM air filter box. Here too, the resonance chamber has been removed to make the airflow between the filter element and the turbo inlet as direct and undisturbed as possible. The outer skin of the inlet features a modern honeycomb structure, which not only provides a technical design but also increases the structural rigidity of the component – with minimal material usage. This ensures that the inlet remains dimensionally stable even under high thermal and mechanical stress, without adding unnecessary weight. This upgrade is aimed at performance enthusiasts in the export sector who want to efficiently and easily increase the potential of their B58 engine. It offers a technically clean solution for improved air supply in motorsport.
