With the Karoq model update, the newer EVO engines from the Volkswagen Group were introduced. The 2.0 TDI with 150 hp remained in the range and was continued as an EVO unit. Škoda explicitly specifies five engines from the EVO generation for the revised Karoq; the 150 hp diesel was available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
