Bionically developed flow geometry:
We combine natural principles and high-tech in our components. The bionically developed air filter box reduces pressure loss by up to 40% compared to the original component. We achieve this by using state-of-the-art CFD flow simulations to design the flow with the lowest possible separation edges. The geometry strictly follows the airflow. Internal turbulence is reduced by an average of 35% compared to the OEM system, allowing the engine to breathe more freely. The factors mentioned above lead to optimized responsiveness and faster spool-up of the engine and turbocharger (up to 30 Nm more torque at 1500 RPM). The axial bearing of the charger is relieved, which increases its lifespan under load. The bionic box remains within the factory-specified air volume tolerances for safe operation.
Fuel Savings & Efficiency:
The bionic shape not only provides more performance but also maximum efficiency. CO2 and nitrogen oxide emissions are reduced, while fuel consumption decreases. A noticeable improvement in performance and dynamics is achieved in the lower RPM range, which accounts for approximately 80% of operating time. In cooperation with scientific expertise (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Schreiner), we were able to theoretically prove that a 40% reduction in pressure loss can decrease consumption by up to 0.32 l/100 km.
Validated Performance Increase:
As manufacturers, we offer demonstrably optimized diesel intake systems without software intervention. We do not have questionable dyno results; products only reach series maturity with true technical added value. We have tested our air filter box on dynos at renowned partners such as APR, Oettinger, or Public Racing. All measurements showed an increase in efficiency across the entire RPM range. We are redefining diesel tuning!
Special Air Filter Element:
Matching the bionic box, we have developed our own air filter that guarantees loss-free flow. Since conventional OEM boxes use rectangular filters for cost reasons, which do not fit the round flow geometry of the pipes, we rely on rounded panel filters. This eliminates unnecessary barriers in the airflow and significantly increases the overall efficiency of the intake system compared to the rectangular series solution.
Material and In-House Production:
We manufacture our systems in-house after many years of development. The intake systems consist of high-quality polyurethane, processed with modern mixing and dosing systems. The material is temperature-resistant, tough-elastic, and resistant to chemical influences such as oils or greases. We combine automotive industry standards with innovative manufacturing quality for maximum durability.
Plug and Play Solution:
The bionic air filter box replaces the standard part directly and fits into the original mounting points without vehicle modifications.
Acoustic Upgrade:
The linear inflow noticeably improves the intake sound. The "whoosh" and "hiss" of the turbocharger become more audible in the cabin during load changes, emphasizing the powerful character of the vehicle and intensifying the driving experience.
