To optimize the entire intake tract, a plug is included that disables the damping chamber in the filter box. This shortens the effective air path and ensures a technically clean supply. The functional honeycomb structure of the outer shell also ensures extreme dimensional stability under high thermal loads, without making the component unnecessarily heavy.
