For the G-series BMW Z4 with a B58 engine, we present a turbo inlet based on precise technical optimization of the OEM concept. The goal of this development was to eliminate flow-unfavorable resonance chambers within the intake path. Since the original component unnecessarily swirls the airflow and dampens engine acoustics through integrated chambers, our design relies on a smooth inner wall for unhindered throughput in performance scenarios off public roads.

The result of this technical revision is a pressure loss reduced by up to 15%. In validated test cycles, an increase in air mass of approx. 5% was demonstrated, providing a highly efficient basis for hardware optimizations abroad, without the need for adjustments to the rest of the periphery.
