Functionality of the Airscoop

The airscoop actively captures oncoming air and directs it directly into your BMW's air filter box, resulting in a reduction of the intake temperature. The result: A higher oxygen content in the intake air, improved combustion efficiency, and more dynamic power delivery.

Note on active air flap control:

BMW G models feature an active radiator shutter that regulates the air intake as needed (e.g., for aerodynamics or the cold start phase). As soon as the system opens under load or rising temperature, the airscoop is immediately exposed to airflow and develops its full technical effect. For maximum performance in motorsport applications, the flap control can also be manually adjusted or permanently opened.
