High-Velocity Air Scoop suitable for BMW 5 Series G-Series – 520i, 530i, 540i

Functionality in International Motorsport

The air scoop directs cool ambient air to the air filter housing without detours. The result is optimized combustion efficiency and a punchier response as speed increases. The component shows its full efficiency particularly on fast track sections or in export conversions for warm climates.

Note on Active Air Flap Control

In models with active radiator shutters, the air scoop unfolds its full potential as soon as the flaps open based on load or temperature. For dedicated racing projects abroad, the control system can be individually adjusted.
