Operation – Targeted Fresh Air Routing

In the front area of a vehicle, an incoming airflow is available during driving. The RevDop Airscoop utilizes this existing airflow and directs the air specifically towards the stock intake tract.

Well-thought-out fresh air routing can help reduce the proportion of heated air from the engine compartment at the intake. What actual effects this has on the intake air temperature depends, among other things, on the vehicle configuration, the ambient and engine compartment temperatures, and the respective driving conditions.

The development approach focuses on functional air routing and vehicle-specific integration – engineering instead of unsubstantiated performance promises.

Design and Material

The RevDop Airscoop was specially developed for the intended installation situation in the front area of the F3x series.

Manufacturing from PA12 enables precise implementation of the designed geometry. The material is also used in industrial additive manufacturing processes for technical plastic components.

The design is intended for a perfect-fit integration into the respective intended airflow. The prerequisite is that the vehicle version and the existing intake components match the corresponding product variant.

Important Compatibility Note: The listed models are the intended applications for the N57 six-cylinder diesel. Before purchase, the installation situation on the driver's side and the existing intake routing must match the product geometry. Other engine variants, especially six-cylinder petrol engines, are not automatically approved. Please ask us before ordering if you are unsure.
