Bionic Flow Guidance for Maximum Performance
The RevDop High-Flow Turbo Inlet was specially developed for the 190 hp version of the 2.0 TDI EA288. In high-performance turbodiesel engines, the air supply to the turbocharger plays a crucial role in responsiveness, power delivery, and efficiency.
While the standard turbo inlet is designed for installation space, manufacturing effort, and mass production, our High-Flow Turbo Inlet pursues a consistently aerodynamic approach. Using modern CFD simulations, the complete internal geometry has been redesigned to guide the airflow to the turbocharger's compressor with as little loss as possible.
The result is a bionically optimized flow guidance with approximately 10% greater fluid volume and up to 19% less pressure loss compared to the OEM turbo inlet.

Developed with CFD Flow Simulation
The focus of development was on achieving air guidance with as little loss as possible. Using modern Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, the internal contour was completely revised.
Abrupt cross-section changes and aerodynamically unfavorable redirections were deliberately reduced, ensuring that the intake air reaches the turbocharger's compressor wheel in a more controlled and uniform manner.
Compared to the standard turbo inlet, the effective fluid volume could be increased by approximately 10%. At the same time, the flow-optimized geometry reduces pressure loss by up to 19%.
This means the turbocharger has to overcome less flow resistance and can deliver the required air more efficiently.
Specifically Developed for the 190 hp Version
The 190 hp version of the EA288 moves higher air mass flows as standard than the weaker engine variants. This increases the demands on the entire intake system.
Our High-Flow Turbo Inlet has been precisely matched to these requirements and supports the turbocharger with a more uniform and aerodynamically favorable air supply.
Especially under high load or in conjunction with a performance upgrade, the optimized inlet can fully exploit its advantages and make the existing hardware work more efficiently.

Optimized airflow forms the basis of every performance-oriented intake tract. By reducing pressure loss, the turbocharger has the required air available with less resistance.
This improves the turbocharger's response and supports more uniform power delivery across the entire rev range.
The RevDop High-Flow Turbo Inlet is therefore suitable as a sensible addition for production vehicles as well as for vehicles with Stage 1, Stage 2, or Stage 3 tuning.
